Civil Alert (GOChS) System Integrated with the Regional RASTsO Network
Reception of regional civil alert system (RASTsO) signals via the П-166Ц БУУ-02 interface unit, plus voice announcements over VPA loudspeakers — inside buildings and across the grounds. Signal reception, amplification, and loudspeakers — all from a single supplier.
Why it is needed and who must have it
A facility-level alert system ensures that civil-defense signals and emergency information reach everyone on site — including automatically, triggered by the higher-level alert network.
Hazardous and special facilities
Class I and II hazardous industrial facilities, high-risk radiation and nuclear facilities, and hydraulic structures of high and extremely high hazard classes are required to operate a local alert system.
Facilities with over 50 occupants
A facility-level alert system is required at sites where more than 50 people are present at a time, as well as at socially critical and life-support facilities — regardless of occupancy.
In both cases the facility system interfaces with the higher-level alert network — the regional (RASTsO) or municipal system. On site, this function is performed by the П-166Ц БУУ-02 interface unit.
How it works
П-166Ц is upper-tier equipment installed at control centers, not on site. The facility hosts only the БУУ-02 interface unit.
The БУУ-02 line output (0.775 V) feeds the amplifier's priority input — line or microphone level, depending on the amplifier version. Set the sensitivity control to minimum first, then raise it gradually — otherwise the input can be damaged. Every model in the range has a priority input, so any VPA amplifier will work; the VPA-MRX matrix and VPA-MC multi-zone amplifiers additionally provide a dedicated emergency input and per-zone dry contacts.
What we supply
The complete facility alert chain from a single supplier.
П-166Ц БУУ-02
Interface unit (made by KNIITMU). Receives coded signals, sends acknowledgments, triggers the facility alert.
VPA amplifiers
VPA-MRX matrix amplifiers (6 zones, emergency input), VPA-MC multi-zone amplifiers (24 V DC backup power), VPA-MK mixer amplifiers. 70/100 V line output.
Indoor loudspeakers
Ceiling, wall-mount, and column loudspeakers on a 70/100 V line. Indoors, 3–5 W per point is usually enough — it meets the sound-level and intelligibility requirements (SP 3.13130.2026, Russian fire-safety code) and lets the amplifier drive more points.
Outdoor loudspeakers
All-weather horn and column loudspeakers for grounds and perimeter: long throw, moisture protection, operation at −40…+70 °C.
Also available: VPA-ANT trigger players — local messages activated by a dry contact; VPA-MRX 636 / VPA-MC6 paging microphone consoles — manual announcements by an operator.
Alert performance requirements
What the codes regulate — and what we ensure through equipment selection.
