The VPA-MC6 is a paging microphone console for remote control of the 6-zone VPA-MC series mixer amplifiers. It offers USB and Bluetooth playback, an LCD display and direct zone selection, with up to 6 consoles per system.

Design and operating principle

The console controls the amplifier's six zones: dedicated buttons for each of the six zones and an ALL CALL button for a general call. Besides the microphone, the console broadcasts audio from its built-in player — from a USB drive or over Bluetooth. Power is 48 V PoE directly from the amplifier over a twisted-pair cable, or from an external DC adapter: the operating distance is up to 200 m with PoE power and up to 800 m with external power. Consoles are daisy-chained in series (via the RJ45 port) — up to 6 consoles in a system.
