The VPA-R300 is a long-throw horn loudspeaker: 300 W, 120 Hz – 12 kHz, IP66, 115 dB, 490 × 480 × 260 mm, 23 kg. With coverage up to 300 m, it is built for highways, industrial sites and mass-notification systems.

Design and operating principle

The transducer is a compression driver. The horn shapes a directional output (coverage angle 60° horizontal × 30° vertical) and delivers high sensitivity of 115 dB; SPL is 140 dB continuous / 143 dB peak. Frequency range is 120 Hz – 12 kHz.

An IP66 ingress protection rating and an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +70 °C are engineered for year-round outdoor operation. Effective announcement range is up to 300 m, STIPA speech intelligibility index 0.8, and wind resistance of at least 12 on the Beaufort scale.
