Design and operating principle
The transducer is a 3″ compression HF driver. The horn shapes a directional output and delivers high sensitivity of 108 dB; SPL is 125 dB continuous / 128 dB peak. Frequency range is 300 Hz – 13 kHz.
The enclosure is impact-resistant ABS plastic. An IP66 ingress protection rating and an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +70 °C are engineered for year-round outdoor operation. Effective announcement range is up to 100 m, STIPA speech intelligibility index 0.8, and wind resistance ≥ 12 on the Beaufort scale.
